Beverly has been teaching Executive Marketing courses for the UCLA Business and Management Extension program for the past 10 years, where she was recognized as “Distinguished Instructor of 2010” by the dean of the program.

Macy also spent 14 years at Xerox Corporation, where she received top honors for sales and marketing efforts.

Teri specializes in advertising, promotion, real-time social media, branding and emerging technology across entertainment, auto, retail, industries plus government and non-profit agencies. She is the co-author of The Power of Real-Time Social Media Marketing, a critically acclaimed new business book for understanding social media to strengthen a start-up, redefine an existing brand, listen to what customers think, need, and want, and effectively measure social media efforts.

Teri served on the Innovations team at Initiative Media/IPG where she scoured the globe for new platforms from 3-D interactive to electronic ink and researched new ways people are consuming media. She was Media Director for U2 Bono’s (RED) campaign with partners Apple, Converse, Motorola, Emporio Armani and Gap.

Her 25 years as a marketing executive at ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox Sports Net encompassed a wide array of duties from production to advertising and promotion. While at ABC, she created the first on-line video game for a primetime series (“Alias”) with Executive Producer J.J. Abrams starring Jennifer Garner. She oversaw advertising for 210 CBS stations, promoted The Grammys and has created new media and sales campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. She recently facilitated a Social Media for Business series for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce membership. In addition, Teri served as a contributing director for the “Doing Business in Europe” program at Hanze University, The Netherlands where she researched social media use by international companies based in Europe.
